In-class theory instruction: 20 hours
(Pilates history, core principles, anatomy, methodology, mental health, ethics, branding)
In-class practical instruction: 46 hours
(Fundamentals, advanced exercises, adjustments, sequencing)
Workshops with guest specialists: 16 hours
(Breathing anatomy, fascia and Pilates, pelvic health, posture, functional movement)
Observation: 8 hours
(Watching experienced instructors)
Personal practice: 10 hours
(Independent application of learned techniques)
Self-directed theory study: 10 hours
(Reading and individual study of Pilates principles)
Internships: 10 hours
(Teaching in real-world conditions)

Prerequisites for Enrolment
Completion of 15 Pilates classes for applicants without prior certification in a movement discipline
Completion of 10 Pilates classes for applicants already certified in a related movement discipline (yoga, dance, physical training, etc.)
Motivation to deepen your understanding of Pilates and share the practice
A respectful, open-minded attitude and a willingness to learn collaboratively

Origins of Pilates: Joseph Pilates’ history, method evolution, and modern influences
The 6 fundamental principles of Pilates
Anatomy of breathing and its role in Pilates practice
Analysis of shoulders, core, and hips: their role in movement and adjustments
Pelvic health: understanding challenges specific to women and diverse populations
Intro to functional movement: spinal balance and mobilization
Postural Techniques & Assessment
How to assess clients' posture to identify specific needs
Developing observation skills: spotting and kindly correcting imbalances
Fundamental mat Pilates exercises: learning the basics for safe guidance
Adjustments and modifications: tailoring exercises for inclusive teaching
Learning to give constructive feedback to motivate and correct students effectively
Teaching Methodology & Ethics
Teaching methodologies: how to structure and deliver coherent, progressive classes
