THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE AND INTENSIVE PILATES TRAINING
A structured, rigorous, and accessible program designed to teach the technical, anatomical, and pedagogical foundations of Pilates.

In 140 hours, you’ll gain the tools to design, lead, and teach effective, safe classes that meet today’s market needs.

Payment plans available: One-time payment, two instalments, or bi-weekly payments.

November 5 to August 16, 2025

📍 In-person in Montreal - 7015 Saint-Laurent Blvd, Montreal, QC H2S 3E3

Training Dates: 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM

  • October 4–5

  • October 11–12

  • October 18–19

  • November 8–9

  • November 15–16

In-Class Teaching: 70 hours
(Pilates History, Core Principles, Anatomy, Teaching Methodologies, Mental Health, Ethics, Classical & Contemporary Exercises)

Specialist Workshops: 18 hours (included in class hours)
(General Anatomy, Breath Anatomy, Fascia & Pilates, Pelvic Health, Posture, Functional Movement, Ethics & Trauma Awareness)

Observation: 18 hours
(Observing experienced instructors in-studio and/or via live virtual sessions)

Personal Practice: 16 hours
(Self-led application of techniques at home, in studio, or privately)

Self-study & Assignments: 6 hours
(Individual reading and study of Pilates principles, written assignments)

Case Study: 8 hours
(Group work to observe, practice, and complete a written case study)

Practicum Teaching: 15 hours
(Teaching in real-world conditions in a studio or semi-private setting)

Private session with QTT trainer: 1 hour
Virtual welcome session: 1 hour

Total: 140 hours

At the end of the training, students will receive a 140-hour Pilates Teacher Training Certificate.

Introduction & Functional Anatomy

  • Origins of Pilates: the story of Joseph Pilates, the evolution of the method, and its modern influences

  • The 6 fundamental principles of Pilates

  • Anatomy of breathing and its role in Pilates practice

  • Analysis of shoulders, abdominals, and hips: their importance in movement and physical adjustments

  • Pelvic health: understanding anatomical and functional challenges specific to women and diverse populations

  • Introduction to functional movement: spinal alignment and mobility

Postural Techniques & Assessment

  • How to assess clients’ posture to identify their specific needs

  • Developing observation skills: recognizing postural imbalances and correcting them with care

  • Fundamental mat Pilates exercises: learning the foundations to guide students safely and confidently

  • Adjustments and modifications: adapting exercises to individual needs for inclusive teaching

  • Learning to offer constructive feedback to motivate and support your students effectively

Teaching Methodologies & Ethics

  • Teaching methodologies: how to structure and deliver coherent, progressive classes

  • Creating class sequences tailored to beginner and intermediate levels

  • Awareness of mental health and its relevance in a movement-based context

  • Professional teaching ethics: respect, consent, and cultivating an inclusive environment

  • Strategies to promote well-being in a professional teaching or studio setting

Advanced Practice & Adjustments

  • Deepening knowledge of advanced mat Pilates exercises: techniques, alignment, and variations
